With the last defensive barrier fallen, it is time for the assault on the Chinese compound, an occupied refinery. As demonstrated by American power-armored soldiers, soldiers wearing power armor are not able to enter the field safely, which is why it's the player character's job to head to the building on the far right and disarm it. After a while, the player character arrives at the final line of Chinese defense, the pulse field. Once down in the trenches the player character is confronted with various stealth units and snipers. The first line of the enemies' defense includes scattered mortar fire followed by deep trenches. After traveling for a day, choose to either continue to Vault 15 or return to Vault 13 for a number of sidequests. Leave the Vault entrance, and head towards Vault 15.
